The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Hey Julia! Thanks for all the comments on my artwork. Hehehehe. About your question, you can use any picture you want as your avatar--it just has to be resized. Do you have anything like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or even just Microsoft Paint (I think you can do it on there, but I have a Mac so I'm not sure). Anyway, those are some programs you can use to resize pictures. If you don't want to do that, you can search google for 50x50 icons and I'm sure plenty will show up. It's the same size as most AIM icons, right?

P.S. I totally understand about that Spongebob episode.
Gee... That episode when Spongebob relinquishes his apparel for a nudist life in Jellyfish Fields... Why did they try to censor his, um, "area" with flowers and conveniently located tufts of grass when later on in the episode he walks around naked and there's not even anything there?? They built up so much suspense only to crush my perversely inquisitive nine-year-old self. B*stards...
